From EVs to VIPs: JSW MG Drives into June with 21% Growth and a Presidential Surprise

Gurugram — JSW MG Motor India just added another feather to its fast-growing hat, clocking sales of 5,829 units in June 2025 — marking a healthy 21% year-on-year growth and a not-so-subtle reminder that the British-Chinese-Indian trio means serious business.

But the bigger buzz isn’t just in the numbers. It’s about what’s coming next — and it’s arriving in style, probably with a convoy. MG is officially rolling out the red carpet (and possibly bulletproof glass) for its first luxury entrant in India: the MG M9 Presidential Limousine. Yes, you heard that right — a limousine from MG. The car is expected to offer enough legroom to host cabinet meetings and enough tech to make your smartphone feel insecure.

That’s not all. Right after the M9 takes a dignified bow, the MG Cyberster is set to burn rubber and blow minds — touted as the world’s fastest MG ever, and probably the sleekest thing to come out of a design studio that also makes SUVs named Hector and Gloster.

Both the M9 and Cyberster will be available through the brand’s all-new, ultra-premium retail arm — MG Select — because luxury needs its own red velvet rope and showroom scent.

And with June sales steady, MG’s message is clear: whether you want to drive silently on electrons or glide like a head of state, there’s an MG waiting with its doors (and possibly curtains) open.
