Mercedes-AMG Unleashes the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro in India with F1 Fury and Boardroom Poise, Starts at INR 3 crore

Mumbai, India – Buckle up and hold on to your double espressos – Mercedes-Benz India has just fired the starting gun on a high-octane double launch from its legendary AMG stable: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4Matic+ and the track-melting GT 63 PRO 4Matic+. With prices starting at ₹3 crore and ₹3.65 crore respectively (ex-showroom, naturally), these V8-powered missiles are more than just performance cars—they’re a love letter to tarmac, torque, and tantalisingly precise German engineering.

And yes, they both come with Drift Mode. Because why just take corners when you can tango with them sideways?

🔥 “From Affalterbach with Love (and 850 Nm of Torque)”

Both variants carry AMG’s sacred “One Man, One Engine” legacy—each 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine assembled by a single human being (presumably one with forearms carved from granite and espresso in his veins). The GT 63 clocks in with 585 hp and hits 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Not fast enough? The Pro dials it up to 612 hp, shaves a tenth off that time, and adds an aerodynamics package so aggressive it could probably cut air pollution.

“These cars embody the essence of AMG—performance, precision, and passion,” said Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India. “Our customers didn’t just want power. They wanted track-day ready lunacy with seat ventilation and a good Spotify playlist.”

🏎️ More Tech Than Your Smartphone, More Speed Than Your Composure

The new GT 63 is the first AMG in India to flaunt Active Aerodynamics Technology—including underbody elements that suck the car to the road like a heat-seeking missile. Rear-axle steering gives you agility at low speeds and stability at high ones. And if you’re wondering whether that rear spoiler is just for show—it actively deploys and adjusts based on speed like it’s auditioning for a Fast & Furious spinoff.

The PRO, however, takes the phrase “hold my beer” seriously. It brings in active cooling for front and rear differentials, sports tyres that whisper “track day, bro?”, and ceramic composite brakes to ensure you stop as fiercely as you accelerate.

🎯 Track Toys for the Boardroom Boss

Yes, these are serious track weapons. But Mercedes insists they’re equally comfy crawling Bandra traffic or turning heads outside your third coffee shop visit of the day. Rear seats? Check. 64-color ambient lighting? Check. Enough digital displays to make NASA jealous? Also, check.

And for those who want proof of lap times, the AMG Track Pace system logs over 80 parameters per second—so even if you’re a Sunday warrior, the car makes you feel like a Nürburgring veteran (until you actually try to beat your last lap).

🎨 Because Colour Matters at 317 km/h

Both variants come in head-turning Manufaktur shades—Patagonia Red Bright, Alpine Grey Solid, and the menacing Green Hell Magno. The GT 63 Pro even gets carbon everything: front splitters, rear diffusers, and ego boosts.

🚥 The Race Begins (with a Waiting List)

Deliveries for the GT 63 begin in Q4 2025, while the Pro makes its way into garages from Q1 2026. Mercedes-Benz India also plans to launch exclusive AMG track experiences across India’s premier circuits—because what’s the point of 612 hp if you can’t flex it legally?
